Text Message Terms

The program

HLCD Notifications is the text message program of Holy Light Church of Deliverance. It sends text messages to people who have asked to receive them. Messages include service times and schedule changes, event and Bible study reminders, prayer line announcements, and ministry news. Members of our music ministry may also receive rehearsal updates.

How to sign up

Sign up on our HLCD Notifications page by entering your name and mobile number and checking the consent box. Giving your phone number on any other form does not sign you up for texts. Signing up is never required to attend, become a member, or give.

How often

Message frequency varies with what is happening at church.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. The church does not charge for text messages.

Help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or call the church office at (757) 397-4424.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts after that. To join again, sign up on the HLCD Notifications page.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
