God Knows You Personally
God knows exactly what you need. Before you get the words together, before you explain the situation, before you tell anybody what you have been going through, He already knows exactly what you need.
We must first understand that God created us. Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him…” (AMP) Who knows you better than the one that created you. Before you ever had the opportunity to introduce yourself, God chose your mother and your father; He chose whether you should be short or tall. God knows more than your name—-He knows when something is troubling you, even when you are trying to carry on like everything is all right.
Now, just think for a moment: God is familiar with us——He knows His people——you have never been a stranger to Him. Jeremiah 1:5, “God told Jeremiah that He knew him before He formed him in the womb. Before anybody else could see what Jeremiah would become, God knew him.” He knows where you live. He knows what is going on in your life. God knows the things you enjoy and the things that keep weighing on your heart. Our responsibility is to seek to know Him.
Everybody Has a Story!
Oftentimes, we assume we understand things about people without getting to know them. We were raised differently. We have lived through different experiences. Some may have breezed through things in life without any pain or struggle. Someone else may have been busy trying to survive— had to help carry the weight of the family. Others had to work hard to complete school because they were the first to graduate, and they felt the pressure of everybody coming behind them. You cannot look at a person for five minutes and know everything it took for them to get where they are! God knows the whole story, including the parts people overlook.
You Can Defy the Odds
It is not easy to keep moving when people have already counted you out. They look at your situation and decide you will never make it. After hearing that long enough, you must tell yourself that you can make it out of this! God knows you, and He knows the strength you need for the next step. He expects you to win! Tell yourself, “I'm not a loser. I'm a winner!”
It is important that we seek God
Seeking God develops our trust in Him. Seeking Him keeps you focus doing what He has given you to do. Job 42:2, “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” In other words, no purpose of Yours can be blocked or ruined. That is the God you are depending on. Ecclesiastes 11:5, “As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.”
It may not look like everything is coming together. You may still have questions. Bring those questions to Him, and keep walking in faith. God knows you personally, and He knows exactly what you need!
